Caring for your Tack
It is important to remember that with tack care, the temperature of the room where you keep it needs to be considered. If the room is too warm and dry, or too cold and damp, you will get tell tale signs on your tack.
- If cold and damp mould will build up on your tack.
- If the room is too warm your tack will start to dry up.
So before you saddle up, why not harness some of your enthusiasm and energy to freshen up your horse accessories? It’s not as daunting as you may think. To help make the task as easy as possible, Robinsons Equestrian stock a comprehensive range of tack and rug products.
Cleaning tack requires an amount of good, old-fashioned elbow-grease, plus a selection of leather soap, cleanse spray, tack wipes and more. Looking after your tack lengthens its life, saving you money in the long run.
For rug care we have excellent rug cleaners and rug wash products – which are easy-to-use non-detergent cleaners. So, if you need long-lasting water-repellancy products for all-year-round protection – we have them!
