Duraproof

Our Duraproof coating is trademarked by Gallop Equestrian Ltd. We are the only rug suppliers with this seal of approval, as well as sealing the fabric to make it waterproof, aiding longevity to the turnout rug.

The waterproof and breathability ratings you need depends on the conditions. However, with our new 10,000mm coating, it makes our turnout rugs fully waterproof from the lightweight ranges up to the 300g ranges.

In heavy rain or extensive wet conditions, you need a high waterproof rating to ensure your horse stays dry. This must also allow for a high breathability to prevent the horse/pony from sweating.

Our rugs will start from a maximum of 10,000mm. Over a period of time, this will drop to a minimum of 3,000mm, which is still good for light, infrequent showers in cold conditions. 10,000mm is excellent for all conditions throughout the year especially during excessive, heavy downpours or continuous rainfall.

The Duraproof coating will naturally degrade over a period of time, but should never drop below 3,000mm. The coating will also take up to 3-4 washes before this starts to occur. It will eventually leak but with the Duraproof coating the use and longevity of the rug dramatically increases.

THERMALOC ®

Made from 70% recycled bulk polyester fibre. A synthetic long fine denier fibre that's a man made and highly absorbent material that has great heat retention. The thermal bonding process gives it a strong and durable structure which aids the longevity of the fibrous material.

The soft siliconized fibres from which it is made creates a soft and bouncy material, adding comfort and warmth to the garment or rug. It's also lightweight and voluminous, helping cover and fill the necessary areas without being heavy or bulky.

The soft fibres gives super volume retention, even after repeated washing the material will not clump. Importantly, it stills gives warmth retention even if damp/wet.

Used in Gallop Turnouts and Stable rugs, giving added benefit to the horse from our 50g fill up to the 300g fill. Alongside the Duraproof coating it guarantees no matter what the weather or use, your horse remains dry and warm.

You can also collect instore at Robinsons Equestrian in Malton. This service is FREE of charge and takes 3 - 7 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection.

We also offer UK Standard delivery at £6.95 and UK Express delivery at £8.95, if you need you items that little bit sooner.

Please note any postage costs including initial postage charges and those incurred when returning your item(s) will be at your own expense except in the case of faulty item(s)

In order to receive a refund or exchange you must:

• Provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned.
• Return the item(s) within 28 days of being delivered to you/collected by you.
• Return the item(s) in a resellable condition with its original packaging (including labels attached) unless faulty.

Please note there are some items which can not be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.
